Yuanyu Xie is an Associate Research Scholar at C-PREE, Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. Her research interest is on the interactions between atmospheric chemistry, climate and land biosphere with implications on the co-benefits of greenhouse gas and pollution mitigation policy. She is currently leading multiple interdisciplinary projects focusing on bridging science and policy to support sustainable, healthy, and carbon-neutral societies, working with Denise L. Mauzerall. She also works on understanding the impacts of increasing wildfires on fine particulate pollution means and extremes, and pollution monitoring using high-resolution satellite retrievals and assessments of population exposure. Xie earned her Ph.D. from Tsinghua University (2018) and completed her postdoctoral work at NOAA GFDL/Princeton University (2018-2021).
